Have you ever wondered how the City decides it’s time to salt or plow the roads? What routes do they take and why? What the heck is brine, and does it actually help? How much salt do we buy every year? We are so fortunate that Public Works Director Joe Fornaro is willing to come in to answer your questions and more. Join us at 11:00 am for this free program at the Center! Free and open to the public.
Join the Police Association for an evening of spooky family fun. Our friends at the Police Department will be reading “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown,” followed by watching the 25 minute movie. Snacks will be provided.
The City of Kirtland and volunteers will be assisting area Seniors and Veterans with fall yard clean-up on Saturday, November 9 (gathering at City Hall at 8:15 am). We currently have over twenty households signed up and are always looking for more help as we work together for the good of our neighbors. Rakes and leaf blowers are encouraged, but not necessary. If you are interested in having assistance at your house, or in helping, please contact Teresa at [email protected] or at 440-256-3332 ex. 5.
