We will be gathering at City Hall at 9:00 am on Saturday, April 30 to split into teams. There are yards around the City that need some assistance with light yardwork, and we hope to be done by mid-afternoon. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking for service hours or to help your neighbors!

Kirtland residents are invited to a Community Forum at City Hall on Tuesday, May 10 at 7:00 pm. The purpose of this forum is to gather input regarding future road funding strategies. If you are unable to meet in person, the meeting will be streamed live and available on our YouTube channel (see link below). Public Works Open House @ Public Works Department
Everyone is invited to an Open House of Kirtland’s Public Works Department on Friday, May 20 from 5 – 8:00 pm. This free event will be held behind Fire Station 2 on Chillicothe, and is open to everyone! Join us for tours, meet and greets, refreshments, and so much more. They will be collecting food to pack a plow for local families, so bring a donation to help your neighbors. We look forward to seeing you there and thank the Service Department for hosting!

As we celebrate National Public Works Week from May 15 – 21, we want to especially recognize our hardworking department here in Kirtland. This amazing group of dedicated staff works hard behind the scenes for ALL of us and we appreciate their efforts.

Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony @ Kirtland City Hall

Kirtland City and Barber-Williams American Legion Post 609 will be having its Annual Memorial Day parade and Memorial Service on Monday, May 30. If you or your group is interested in participating in the parade, please contact Keith at [email protected]. The parade will start at 10:00 am at KHS and walk down to Kirtland’s Veterans Memorial, with our annual Service to follow.
