Shamrock Shuffle and Shenanigans is this Sunday, March 26, at Kirtland City Hall with all additional proceeds benefitting children literacy programs at the Kirtland Public Library. All are invited to register to WALK OR RUN through the Joseph Street neighborhood without any major hills. Each entry gets entered into a raffle to win a new iPad. Many prizes for top contenders and gifts for all participants. Event opens at 9am with 9:15 Harmony Yoga pre-race stretch in the heated tent and race starting at 10am.
After the race, and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, there is going to be a ton of fun with a Ohio Mobile Gaming video game van, Lenny the sheep from the Farm Park, library activities, Fiona’s hot chocolate bar, live music with The SHiZZ and Tommy McCrone, head shaving for St. Baldrick’s by JCU football players, Murphy’s Irish Dancers and of course the bagpiper, Bruce Greig. All free for guests. Fungry Food Truck and Down the Block will be there serving as well, along with the Kiwanis hosted beer garden – The Pub.
Race packet pick-up is available at City on Saturday, March 25 from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
