DESCRIPTION:<p><b><u>2024 FALL BRUSH COLLECTION</u></b></p>\n<p>Beginning t
 he week of October 28\, the Kirtland Service Department will collect brush
  throughout the city. The program is intended to assist residents with the
  fall clean-up of branches and twigs that have come down from the inclemen
 t winter weather. The program is NOT intended to assist with clearing a pa
 rcel or substantially clearing trees on a parcel. Weather permitting\, Cit
 y trucks will pass only one time through each ward\, so please have your b
 rush and tree limbs out by the start date listed for your ward.</p>\n<p>Wa
 rd 2: Week of October 28</p>\n<p>Ward 4: Week of October 28</p>\n<p>Ward 3
 : Week of November 4</p>\n<p>Ward 1: Week of November 4</p>\n<p>Requiremen
 ts for Brush Pick-up:</p>\n<p>Brush should be placed at the edge of the ro
 ad and not in the drainage ditches.</p>\n<p>Brush should not exceed three 
 inches in diameter or a maximum of four feet in length.</p>\n<p>Brush bund
 les should not exceed 30 pounds and should be set out in an organized mann
 er.</p>\n<p>Bundling with twine is preferred to promote efficiency and saf
 ety.</p>\n<p>The entire brush pile should not exceed 10 feet in width.</p>
 \n<p>Unacceptable items include stumps\, shrubs\, leaves or ornamental gra
 ss\, and Christmas trees.</p>\n<p>No brush piles will be picked up if thes
 e requirements are not met.</p>\n<p>Contact the Kirtland Service Departmen
