KIRTLAND KIWANIS

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers, serving the children of the world and dedicated to changing the world one child and one community at a time. The Kirtland Kiwanis meets every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at the Kirtlander Party Center on Chillicothe Road. Everyone is welcome to join and help the children of our community.

Some of our major fundraisers are the Strawberry Festival in June and the Italian Feast as well as other smaller ones throughout the year. All money raised stays in the community and is dedicated to children, school programs and scholarships. In addition to supporting children in need, Kiwanis supports our seniors and veterans.

Some of the Kiwanis projects, both past and recent, include the installation of wireless internet service at the Kirtland Elementary School, expansion of the Kirtland Schools weight room, and support for the after-prom, key club, and the Close-up programs.

All are invited to become a Kiwanian and see how you can make a difference in the life of a child.
